debt collectors even hound people who are owed money i order to get you to use their services. i know of one that will say you owe them thousands just for the fact that you considered using them but decided not too.

@aarondavid826 I’d say the real thief’s are the credit companies that jack up your rate on your credit card because you were late with your car payment that is a completely different company. Credit companies dug their own hole. I dated a girl that made 7.25$ an hour and they gave her a card with an 8000$ limit. Good Idea. Her minimum payment was like 500$ a month and she only made around 1000$ a month. And what are they supposed to do with the stuff? Sell your underwear on craigslist?

Everyone gets into debt from time to time.You NEVER need to deal with a debt collector over the phone.It all HAS to be done by mail to be legit anyways.A real collection company will never threaten you.Google the collection laws in your state and empower yourself.Turn the tables on shady collectors and ALWAYS pay the principal debt holder.Never pay a collection agency unless they are the principal debt holder(they usually aren’t).And be sure to get their full name for your FTC report.

What’s the point of hiring a debt collector if they aren’t willing to do things that you personally aren’t? Of course they do illegal things, of course they threaten and harrass those they’re trying to collect from.

Hmm these debt collectors are reminiscent of the Mafia…Pay the vig or I break your legs! People don’t go out taking loans, just don’t do it, stick to what you have if you can, otherwise you’d just be feeding the “legal lonesharks”.

im on probation and the urine test company is private. without money i cant test. so im going to got to prison friday july 23rd because im poor. if the point of probation is to make sure im following the rules why should my financial status dictate that? ive never done drugs, never had a drug charge an never faild a drug test. but this is why im non compliant. indianapolis an all the lawmakers here.

were i work they constantley tell you not to break the law but when u do all you can to collect and they will not pay or can’t pay. the company is constantly nagin why they haven’t paid yet. and its seems like in the end they want you to break the law even though they don’t say it. in a way like they speak in code you know “wink wink”. plus if you dont collect belive they got 100 other muther lined up to do what you wal’nt. so in the end its either this or flipin burgers.
